In our professional lives, through Advance Consulting, we strive to reduce disparities, improve our community, and implement public policy that supports those goals. The 2011 Minnesota Legislature’s vote to put a constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage on the ballot flies in the face of all those goals, and we are committed to making sure that Minnesota will be the first state in the country to defeat the ban. As part of this commitment, we put up a $5,000 challenge grant and held a party. Thanks to our friends and colleagues, we were able to send more than $10,000 to Project 515 and Minnesotans United for All Families.
